How often to wash bottles and water bottles
Water bottles and water bottles require regular cleaning, preferably after each use. If we use a bottle every day, we should wash it at least once a day.
Every time we use a bottle or water bottle, it comes into contact with our hands, mouth or surroundings. Therefore, many microorganisms can be present on their surface.
Bacteria can spread quickly inside and pose a threat to our health. Regular washing reduces the risk of microorganisms developing and unpleasant odours forming.
How to wash them properly?
Start by rinsing the container with warm water.
Soak the cap, mouthpiece and seals in warm water with dishwashing detergent and then clean them thoroughly. Pay special attention to less accessible places and joints!
Wash the inside of the bottle with water and detergent. Use a special bottle brush.
Clean the inside of the straw using a small pipe brush and dishwashing liquid.
After washing, rinse all elements thoroughly with water.
Dry the washed bottle thoroughly or leave to air dry.
Do not close the bottle when it is still wet - this may cause an unpleasant smell inside the container.
What are the benefits
