The President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda met with the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj and his wife in Warsaw. President Duda expressed great joy with this visit, recalling last year's visit to Albania, which covered plenty of important talks and meetings.

During the speech, President Duda recalled that Albania is a NATO member for 15 years, which makes it an important ally in terms of security. In the context of the upcoming NATO summit in Washington, he emphasized the importance of joint action to support Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
"NATO must guarantee constant and permanent support for Ukraine until such support is needed," Duda said.
Poland's support for Albania on its way to the EU
President Duda expressed his full support for Albania's efforts to join the European Union. He stressed that this is a priority for Poland, especially in the context of Poland's upcoming presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2025.
"The admission of Albania to the European Union, as well as other countries of the Western Balkans, is a Polish priority," Duda emphasized.
Development of economic cooperation
President Duda also spoke about the development of economic relations between Poland and Albania, especially in sectors such as agriculture, mining, the electrical machinery industry, new technologies and renewable energy sources.
"We also want to develop economic relations with Albania and we hope that we will be able to strengthen them in the coming years," the President emphasized.
