The investment for PKP Intercity will be carried out in the "design and build" system, which means that the contractor must first prepare the designs and then start the construction work. Companies interested in participating in the tender can submit their offers until Monday, August 12. The decisive criteria are price (80%) and the declared deadline for completing the first task (20%).
The selected contractor will have 33 months from the signing of the contract to complete the investment. The construction of a new locomotive shed on the Warsaw-Grochów railway siding is a key element of PKP Intercity's development strategy. The implementation of this investment will not only improve fleet management, but will also support the carrier's ambitious rolling stock plans, contributing to the improvement of the quality of transport services in Poland.
