Over the last six months, as many as 15,000 companies were founded in Poland by foreigners. In total, there are 53,000 enterprises and sole proprietorships in Poland run by people with foreign passports.
Ukrainians definitely dominate since they run over half of the foreign businesses operating in Poland. The next places are taken by: Belarusians, Vietnamese, Russians and Germans.
The trend is clear when comparing the data from previous years. More than a year ago, in January 2023, foreigners ran about 32,000 businesses, and in 2016 only about 15,000.
