Pensioners are not satisfied with the increase in food prices, this is how Tusk's government comments on the decision for the daily newspaper "Fakt".
“I am terrified of the price rises that await us and I'm afraid of them. Unfortunately, I don't have a very high pension and these increases will hit me hard. I will have trouble making ends meet and I will have to count on the help of my children” - Mrs. Ewa from Gorzów Wielkopolski told "Fakt".
“This increase in VAT on food may hit poorer pensioners hard. Unfortunately, most Poles have low pensions and therefore, in order to compensate for the increase in prices, it would be necessary to either increase pensions or abolish taxation” - echoed Mr. Remigiusz from Zduńska Wola.
