TROUBLED pop star BRITNEY SPEARS

Caused chaos after leaving a trendy LA shop wearing a top she hadn't paid for.

Her 25 aides and bodyguards then argued with the store's staff and with cops and fans.

But friends of the star, 26, say she simply forgot to hand over cash for the $200 long-sleeved vest. She was not arrested.
